Workshop: Activism in the neighborhood
Identify, address and collectively manage conflicts.
Experiences and methods from Colombia
Conflicts are part of our lives and our activism in the neighborhood, neighborhood or district. But how do we recognize these conflicts and how can we collectively address and manage them?
In this workshop we want to introduce you to approaches and methods that CECUCOL, the organization with which we develop this cycle, has been successfully applying for more than 30 years in several neighborhoods of Cali (Colombia). You will learn how conflicts arise and what dynamics they develop. You will learn the basics of social mapping and, with the help of practical examples from your own environment, we will jointly identify the driving forces and actors behind conflicts, their territorial dimensions and ramifications, and look for options for collective action.
Participation is free of charge, the cycle is funded by the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung. The workshop will be simultaneously translated from Spanish into German and vice versa.
Saturday, 17.06.2023, from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
